If you found this book you’re probably one of the millions of people interested in discovering who the historical Jesus Christ really was. While I’m not claiming to have all the answers, I’m certain that if you take the time to go through the material in Harry Potter Jesus Christ, you will learn something that is personally astonishing. This book was written with the complete beginner to Christian history in mind, but also confronts the apologetic criticisms that have been raised against “Christ Myth” theory in the past, and provides new evidence and arguments that have (to my knowledge) never previously been made public.
Different sections of the book may seem obvious, exasperating or pedantic to you; other sections might seem overly spiritual or “fluffy” – it is impossible to write a book like this without going over a lot of common ground. People already have very strong beliefs concerning who they think Jesus Christ was and what the available evidence demonstrates, and it is necessary to go through the history of the controversy before presenting fresh material.
That said, I’m confident that while some may not agree with everything in this book, there are extremely few people who will not learn something from it. And because my aim is to make this research as widely available as possible, I’m giving it away for free on this website (click her for the full review copy), as well as publishing it in several formats. If you’d like to buy a copy for convenience, you’re welcome to it.
My Challenge
Do you think I’m wrong, that this book is blasphemous and that you’ve got clear, firm evidence that Jesus was historical? Don’t let that stop you from reading the book. This book might actually take you longer than 5 days, and it’s doubtful (especially if you have very passionate ideas about who Jesus was) that I will succeed in changing “everything you know.” But I am pretty sure that this may be the strongest argument ever put forward in favor of the literary Jesus. If you disagree, I hope after reading it that you’ll post feedback on this website and give constructive criticism that other readers will benefit from.
This book is meant to generate discussion – obviously it may not have gotten everything right. You can affect the impact and direction of this discussion by posting your own review. Point out where I went wrong or what evidence I missed. The only criteria is that you read the book, rather than comment blindly based on prejudice or your personal background. Read it and post a critique on this site or Amazon.com. Your comments will be helpful to the thousands of visitors who are also searching for the historical Jesus.
Sincerely,
